Introducing Monish Kumar
Welcome Monish to team Chiefs! Monish will be completing work placement with us over the next three months as part of our partnership with Bond University. Monish was a successful esports player in India having represented Team India in the Overwatch World-Cup 2019 as well as various championships in both Overwatch and PUBG. After completing his Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in India, he decided to follow his passion and in order to forge a career in the esports industry; this time in a management role. He took a gamble and moved to the Gold Coast to study a Masters of Sports Management (Professional) at Bond University, where Bond's partnership with The Chiefs has lead him to get hands on experience with us. Ultimately his goal is to build his esports management skills and return to India to create his own esports business and give back to the ecosystem, sharing his new-found skillset to help create the next generation of esports for India.

"I'm extremely confident that this positive experience with Mike, Nick, Josh and Jordan will be crucial in building my career into the esports ecosystem. Lastly, all of this wouldn't be possible if not for Bond University's continuous efforts in involving themselves and growing the esports ecosystem."
