Speaking on their return to Rocket League, Andrew "Edge" McLaren, the General Manager of The Chiefs says: "We're super excited to bring Chiefs back into Rocket League, we look to build on our winning legacy and really push OCE back into the world stage. In 2018 Chiefs put OCE on the map with a top 4 finish at the RLCS Season 6 after being knocked out by Cloud9 who ended winning the event. People still to this day look back on that major and remind us that it's not just a milestone for Chiefs but a milestone for the entire region. The roster we have decided to bring on board is extremely dedicated and brimming with talent, they're sure to make waves both in OCE and internationally - and we are excited to do it with them."
The Chiefs Esports Club have a long legacy in Rocket League, with multiple first-place finishes in the Rocket League Oceanic Championship, as well as clinching a championship in the Gfinity Elite Series, but most notably finishing Top 4 Worldwide in Series 6 of the Rocket League Championship in 2018 in Las Vegas.
