Chiefs ESC Rocket League place Top 8 at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh

ICYMI: The Chiefs Esports Club Rocket League team last week placed Top 8 at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, marking the first time an Oceanic team has secure Top 8 since 2019.

Continuing to prove The Chiefs Esports Club remain the pinnacle of Oceanic Esports, we were able to decisively eliminate EU #1 Seed and Copenhagen Major Winners Gentlemates Alpine in a crushing 3:0 sweep to secure playoffs.

Not since Renegades placed Top 8 in 2019 has an Oceanic team been able to deliver such high end results, breaking an almost 5 year curse for the region and giving Oceanic Rocket League fans something to be proud of.
Chiefs player Joreuz (previously of Dignitas and M80) was able to secure himself tournament MVP despite the team only placing Top 8, with the tournament being a standout performance in the young players career.
Brendan Harms, Chief Operating Officer of Chiefs ESC says: "We couldn't be happier of the achievements our team has been able to make within the first year of our return to Rocket League. We want to make sure Oceanic Esports fans always have results they can be proud of, and we will continue to endeavour to keep Oceania on the map. Next year we make Top 4."
With the strongest showing in half a decade for the Oceanic region, The Chiefs look to take that momentum into the 2025 season and continue bringing world class results to our plans.
