It’s never easy to say goodbye, especially to one who’s been there since the very beginning. It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the departure of our League of Legends manager, Amy ‘Sigils’ Lau.
“Amy has been with the team since the days of Team Immunity, moving onto a role as the League of Legends manager once we became the Chiefs in August, 2014. Since then, she has been pillar of support and the major caretaker for the team during the highs and the lows of our time as the Chiefs. From our defeat at the hands of now Legacy Esports in the 2014 Winter Regions to capturing both Oceanic Pro League titles and the subsequent Wildcard campaigns in 2015, Amy has been there for the team when they needed her the most and working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure their time as pro players is as smooth as it can be.” – Frank ‘Sangy’ Li, Owner.
“The decision to step down as team manager has not been an easy one to make. It’s been a pleasure to be your manager and an honour to be part of the Chiefs family. Mama Lau will never stop believing in all of you, as individuals and as a team. Thank you guys for taking me along with you on this crazy and amazing ride – it’s been an adventure :)” — Amy
Truly one of the pioneers of Oceanic League of Legends and a true fan of the game, we wish Amy the best in the future with her endeavours and hope to work with her again soon.
