Two of the most successful years in Oceanic League of Legends history, our team has been a driving force in shaping the esports scene in Oceania.
At a time of great change in the industry, they have reached out to express interest in exploring other options both in Oceania and beyond.
At the Chiefs, we are strongly supportive of our players’ decisions to seek opportunity to grow as an individual. As such, we have given permission for those willing to field offers for the 2017 season. We want to make sure they have the best idea of their worth and value, and this is one of the only times in the year for them to realise that.
We are hopeful and positive that we will continue our journey with our roster for 2017. Negotiations between the Chiefs and the players are ongoing and we hope that their ability to properly gauge their position by speaking to other organisations during a set period of Free Agency, something relatively new to esports, will strengthen any potential relationships we have in the future.
As of right now, Quin “Raes” Korebrits is still a member of the Chiefs League of Legends roster.
