The Chiefs are proud to announce their return to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive with the newest members to our family; introducing Chiefs CS:GO! Comprised of the majority of the team previously known as Dire Wolves, recent strong showings where they went undefeated in a 20-0 run to claim the ESEA Oceania Season 19 title, as well as a recent third place finish in FACEIT Oceania Stage 2, ensuring qualification for the final stage of the competition later this year. The team is eager to live up to the Chiefs’ name and aim to once again push for the pinnacle of CS:GO within the Oceanic region.
“We are very excited and feel privileged to have the opportunity to play under Chiefs. We see Chiefs as a top organisation within Australia and we plan to put in as much effort as possible to keep building as a team and organisation.” - Thomas ‘BlackouT’ Richmond

“I’ve always been a huge fan of CS:GO, playing the game a lot myself and following the scene’s meteoric rise. I respect the work and effort players from older iterations of the franchise persisting and reaching the stage it is at today. I hope I can provide a good home and environment for our team to thrive and to stay as competitive as they had been in online and to give them the best environment in live events as we grow the profile of Australian CS:GO.” - Frank Li
The team will be looking to make their debut at ACL Melbourne, which will be held on September 5-6th at La Trobe University, so keep an eye out for more information!
