Chiefs Esports Club are pleased to announce that we have re-signed and will be continuing to work with our current Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster for 2017.

In the 4 months since joining Chiefs; Michael ‘Lightstep’ Hall, Tyler ‘tucks’ Reilly, Liam ‘malta’ Schembri, Alistair ‘aliStair’ Johnston and Josh ‘INS’ Potter have made their mark in Oceanic CSGO, such as qualifying for ESEA’s Season 22 Global Challenge in Katowice, Poland, qualifying for ESL’s Season 2 Australian and New Zealand Championship at PAX Australia, next year’s ZEN League and ASUS’ ROGMASTERS in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They are now the first Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team based in Australia to be paid a salary, as we believe their commitments and efforts will only grow from here!

In saying this, we regret to be withdrawing from the Dreamhack Closed Asian Qualifiers this weekend, due to qualifying with subs and having conflicting personal schedules. With this short time-off, Chiefs will be working hard and look towards 2017 and the ZEN League!
