Following the departure of Rosey, the Chiefs were on the market for a new support player to fill big shoes left behind by our long time compatriot in the bottom lane. Rosey’s departure marked an end to over 1,000 days with the original Raydere/Rosey/Swip3rR trio and over 700 days with our previous core five, including Swiffer and Spookz.
Bryce ‘EGym’ Paule has been a part of Legacy’s stellar run to the 2014 World Championship International Wildcard tournament and beyond since the beginning, when the team was known as MindFreak. As a member of the squad who defeated the Chiefs (then Team Immunity) at Perth Supernova 2014 to qualify for the IWCI, EGym put on a clinic at the tournament, gaining international renown for his support playmaking and decision making abilities, in particular on Alistair.
We are very excited to welcome Bryce to the squad. With his experience in both the domestic and international levels of competition, we hope to further strengthen our line up which dropped only one game in the first OPL split as we set our sights on qualifications for Worlds 2015. Whilst the journey ahead will not be easy, and we understand not to expect total domination from the get go, the team are very excited for what the future can bring and eager to demonstrate that we have the power to remain king of the hill in Oceanic League of Legends.
