This year, our Counter-strike: Global Offensive division qualified for the LAN finals of ESL Australia’s Season 2 Australian and New Zealand CSGO Championships, which will be played live at the PAX Arena, they qualified through seven weeks of competing online against Oceania’s top teams, and now the top four teams get to battle it out at LAN. This season’s prize pool is $20,000, doubling on last season’s offer of $10,000, which has been Australia’s highest prize pool for competitive CS in a structured league.
Chiefs CSGO are no stranger to performing at PAX, when last year they took out the Cybergamer Autumn Championships against Team Immunity in a thrilling BO3, that led to the last map and three OT’s. They will be looking to prove themselves strong in the domestic scene, before flying to Kuala Lumpur the day after to compete in the ASUS ROGMasters with top teams from the rest of Asia.
Make sure to tune in on the 5th and 6th of November on the dedicated Twitch channel to watch the team first take on Parallax at 4pm for the semi-finals on Saturday, and then for the grand finals on Sunday!
Make sure to follow Chiefs social media for all news, updates and giveaways!
