NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX BattleBox has been the hot talk of gaming and technology sites the past couple of months and Australian’s will finally be able to get their hands on it at the MSV Stand during PAX Australia. As professional gamers, we love high quality experiences and Nvidia’s latest offering is sure to be a blast.
If you’re into top of the line gaming,. then this experience is for you. While still not in the market yet in Australia, the experience has been receiving rave reviews over in the United States and the United Kingdom.
As professional gamers, we expect the best from our gaming systems and by all accounts, the BattleBox is set to deliver on all accounts. It’s built with the latest GeForce technology and features either a GTX 780 or a TITAN GPU, in a two way or three way SLI configurations.
With no single-GPU AMD competition, Nvidia’s GTX Titan X is simply the most efficient and most elegant 4K gaming card around. - PC Gamer
They’re also custom fitted with Intel Haswell (the latest released versions) i5 and i7 CPUs and have the latest and greatest cooling systems and SSDs. They’re also fitted with a high-speed DDR3 RAM, which helps with overclocking. The jam packed features prepare you for the next step in professional gaming - Ultra HD
What is Ultra HD (4K)? It’s the next step in television and computer resolution. You probably have a High Definition TV at the moment - this allows you to view your TV shows, movies and play your console games at 1920×1080 resolution if you have a 1080p monitor/TV or 1280×720 resolution if you have a 720p monitor/TV. 4K TVs and monitors/TVs have a minimum resolution of 3840×2160 - 4K screens have a greater number of pixels per inch than HD screens, allowing you to see finer detail more sharply and vividly.

“We already knew 4K movies were brilliant, but gaming in 4K is a revelation, and one that finally consigns 3D to the digital scrapheap.” - Stuff.tv
People are often confused about purchasing a 4K rig - the processing power required for 4K screens is 4 times that of HD screens and thus many are unsure if their current gaming systems can handle it. This is where NVIDIA’s Battlebox comes to the rescue - they’re custom built so you are guaranteed to be able to run your 4K experience right off the bat.
If that isn’t enough to take the plunge, the Battlebox comes equipped with the new SLI bridge and comes themed to match the award-winning design of the TITAN and GTX. The bridge also allows illumination of the claw logo.
If you’re still not convinced about the BattleBox and 4K then why not come try it out at the MSV Stand during PAX Australia? We’ll be there too, come say hi!
