Tony Hammond Joins as ‘The Chiefs’ Financial Officer
2020 has seen a significant upscale in growth, commercialisation opportunities, and ability for The Chiefs to execute large projects. To ensure the team’s ability to continue to drive this momentum forwards The Chiefs have appointed Tony Hammond as acting CFO effective immediately.
Tony Hammond has over 22 years of proven experience in building and managing complex investment, operational, financial and compliance functions within the Financial Services industry. Having most recently held Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer roles at Paradice Investment Management, Tony was part of the executive team who grew that business from $2bn to $15bn in assets over 9 years. More recently Tony has been engaged by other successful early stage/start up investment firms to help them manage and grow their businesses. Prior to this Tony held senior roles at Bankers Trust, Westpac, and Rothschild Asset Management in investment operations and relationship roles.
Tony is a qualified CPA having completed a Bachelor of Business- Accountancy at QUT. He also and also a Masters of Tax from the Sydney University.
