Farewell Samuel 'flickz' Jones
Today we say GG to Samuel ‘flickz’ Jones one last time, as he announces his retirement from competitive CS:GO.
“There have been many ups and downs over the two years, but I wouldn’t change a thing.
It has been an amazing experience to be able to compete at huge tournaments domestically as well as a few internationals. It has been a wonderful opportunity to be able to live out most teenage boy’s dream of playing a game for a living.”
– Samuel ‘flickz’ Jones
Joining us in March this year, Sam swiftly became a valued player of the lineup, participating in multiple domestic and international events including IEM Sydney, the ESL ANZ Championships and eXTREMESLAND Asia Finals in Shanghai, and ended his career on a high with wins at WESG Oceania Finals in Adelaide, the LPL Pro Invitational Finals in Auckland, and the ESL AU & NZ Championships in Brisbane.
He has been an amazing player to work with, consistently delivering his best efforts and will be sorely missed.
GG for the last time.

“Sam is one of the most hardworking, dedicated, professional players yet simultaneously light hearted, friendly and fun person to be around that we have ever worked with. Juggling a very serious commitment to his family business and competing in CSGO at the highest level, Sam never once hesitated to make sacrifices for the team, and put the club and his teammates first and foremost in any and every instance. It will be sad to see him go, but more than anything it was a pleasure to have him represent the club and its values to its fullest. Thank you Flickz, and best of luck for everything in the future.”

From all of us at the Club, thank you for the time we’ve shared, and we wish you all the best for your future endeavours.
