Game Rules

How to Play

To register for the tournament simply join the Discord server and follow the steps in the #registration channel. Upon registration you will be given the role for the tournament and given access to the tournament specific channel. At least one participant from each team must join the Discord server.

10 minutes prior to the commencement of the tournament the Administration Team will release the bracket. At least one member of the team is required to send a friend request and invite a player from the opposing team they are scheduled to compete aagainst.

Participants will submit a screenshot or video of the After Action Report or end of game screen that clearly shows the result of the map in the Discord server as verification of the result of the series.

Tournament Rules

a.    Eligibility – All participating players must be residents of Australia or New Zealand and at least 15 years old.

b.    Activision ID – Upon registration teams must submit the Activision ID’s of each participating team member. Activision ID’s can be found and edited from your My Call of Duty Profile, under the Basic Info section. The Activision ID is case sensitive and must include the unique identifier number (for example – ChiefsESC#1234567). Failure to submit an accurate Activision ID will result in disqualification.

c.    No Shows – Once the bracket is generated for each series and teams know who their opponent is, they have 15 minutes to join the lobby and start the match. Failure to start the match within 15 minutes will be considered a no-show and the team not ready will forfeit the series.

d.    Seeding – The Administration Team will endevour to accurately seed the bracket based on previous results and perceived skill of participants. For any team’s whose skill level is unfamiliar to the Administration Team they will be randomly seeded. Once the bracket has been generated the seeds for this tournament are final.

e.    Hosting – The team with the highest seed will host the lobby and is responsible for the correct in-game rules being used unless both teams agree in writing in the Discord server to another host option.

f.    Playing Man Down – If a team is unable to feild an eleigible roster before breaching the No show rule they may opt to ‘play a man down’ via notice in the Discord server. Teams can only enact this rule if they are only one member short of a full eligible team. For example teams can play 3 vs 4 but cannot play 2 vs 4 and would forfeit the series in this case. In a 2 vs 2 tournament teams can play 1 vs 2.

g.    Disconnections – If a player disconnects within the first 30 seconds of a game or before a kill takes place the game will be ended. The disconnected player has 5 minutes to be ready to play before their teammate must enact the Playing Man Down rule or forfeit the game. If a disconnection occurs after the first 30 seconds of the game or after a kills takes place or is the second time of the disconnection then the game will continue until the map is complete. The disconnected player can rejoin the ongoing game at any time and continue to play.

h.    Restricted Items – In the event a player uses a restricted item during a match they will forfeit the map. The burden of proof is on the opposing team to prove the item was used. Equiping any restricted specialist will result in a forfeit of the map.

i.    Prizes – Prize winners will be contacted via Discord by an Admin of the server to arrange payment and/or delivery details within 48hrs of the prize being earned.

j.    Admin Changes – Admins reserve the right to change the scheduled dates and game rules based on feedback from regular players throughout the course of this tournament. Notice of at least 24hrs of any changes will be given to all participants.
