Chiefs part ways with CS:GO Head Coach MAGIKKK

The Chiefs Esports Club have parted ways to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Head Coach Alex ‘MAGIKKK’ Langusch.

Recruited at the beginning of the year, MAGIKKK began working with the team in an official capacity in February. During that time, aside from his duties as the Head Coach, MAGIKKK also stood in for the team in a number of competitive games when needed.

Throughout his time as coach, MAGIKKK guided the team through a transitional phase to a number of highly touted achievements, such as qualifying for our second IEM Sydney appearance and winning the ESL AU&NZ Championship LAN finals at Supanova Sydney.

The decision to release MAGIKKK comes as the team seeks a change in coaching staff who can better align with a revised practice schedule and time frame.

We would like to thank MAGIKKK for his time with the Chiefs, and for all the amazing experiences and accomplishments we have reached together, and wish him best of luck in his future endeavours.
