Farewell 2019 Chiefs CS:GO

Farewell 2019 Chiefs CS:GO

Mike Stewart | February 3, 2020

At the end of last year the former Chiefs Counter Strike team went their separate ways and with it players that have been integral in helping to shape the Chiefs Counter Strike legacy and brand as a whole.

The Chiefs would like to thank Tyler ‘Tucks’ Reilly, Matthew ‘Texta’ O’Rourke and Ryan ‘Zewsy’ Palmer for their time under The Chiefs. They were all incredible guys to work with and did us proud in and out of server. The success of the Chiefs Counter-Strike program has been down to their hard work including qualifying for many international events, taking the Chiefs name to the world stage, and also taking out multiple domestic championships.

We are sure they will be successful in whatever they pursue next, if it’s esports related or not.

Tyler ‘tucks’ Reilly (2015 – 2019)

Mathew ‘Texta’ O’Rourke (2017 – 2019)

Ryan ‘zewsy’ Palmer (2019)

“Also, as many of you said, you’re absolutely right they do deserve a farewell message. To Matt, Tyler &, Ryan, we are sorry this didn’t come out earlier. You are awesome guys and it has been a pleasure to work with you. I truly wish you all the best in whatever you decide to do next” – Josh Harvey.
