We’re very excited to announce we have secured our young superstar AD Carry, Raes, who will carry the shield in 2018!

Quin ‘Raes’ Korebits exploded onto the scene in 2016, debuting for Dire Wolves and earning rookie of the split honours, despite role swapping to ADC. Before the 2016 Split 2 playoffs, Chiefs initiated a trade between Dire Wolves, sending long time ADC Raydere and Raes in a bold move.

It would pay off, with Raes securing us an undefeated playoff run, including a 3-0 victory over Legacy Esports at the 2016 OPL Split 2 Grand Finals held at the Courier Mail Piazza in Brisbane.

From there, Raes earned considerable experience competing at the 2016 International Wildcard Qualifiers in Sao Paulo, Brazil, as well as the IEM Oakland qualifiers in Paris, France and IEM Oakland in Oakland, USA.

In 2017, Raes built on his growth as a player, frequently earning Man of the Match honours and securing not one, but two Pentakills over the year.

“I definitely believe that Raes’ development has not yet been fully realised. The amount of improvement he’s shown since he debuted to now has been incredible. He has amazing resilience and a winning attitude. With the right team environment, guidance and opportunity, he can grow to be one of the, if not, the greatest player in OCE history.” – Frank ‘Sangy’ Li, owner and founder.
